“The vote is precious. It is the most powerful non-violent tool we have in a democratic society, and we must use it.”

2024 Voter Guide
Registering to Vote
We have made it easier for eligible voters in Massachusetts to register to vote with automatic voter registration and extended deadlines. You can automatically register when you apply for or renew your:
Driver’s license, Learner’s permit, or State ID
Or apply for Mass Health through the Commonwealth Connector Or you can:
1. Register Online
2. Or in person at the City Hall Before October 26, 2024 for the State election.
To check on your voter registration status, or help a friend, scan this QR code and follow the simple instructions.
In-person Early Voting
Our new voting laws, which I supported, allow you to avoid the rush of election day, by voting early. You can head to the city clerk’s office or drop off a ballot.
Check with City Hall for hours and days.
For the State Election: From October 19 to November 1, 2024
Or if you prefer to vote on Election Day: State Election is November 5, 2024 7 a.m. to 8 p.m
Vote-By-Mail
Perhaps the most popular and convenient form of voting, and most significant reform in Massachusetts, is the establishment of a permanent access to vote-by-mail, or drop-off ballots.
Here is how it works:
If you haven’t already, you should receive an application for a mail-in ballot.
Complete the application and return it to the City Hall by 5 p.m. Oct. 29 for the State Election.
Return your completed ballot in person by 8 p.m. on election day or post-marked on or before Election Day.
