Educator and Legislator
Representative Pat Haddad represents the people of the Fifth Bristol District which is located on Massachusetts’ South Coast. Her communities include the agrarian town of Dighton, the Fall River suburb of Somerset, the Ocean Grove/Gardners’ Neck neighborhoods of Swansea (Precincts 1, 2 and 3) and the city of Taunton’s Weir Village (Ward 6 and Precinct 1A) and a portion of East Taunton (Precinct 4B).) Bounded on two sides by water, her district includes seven rivers, an estuary and is home to one of the Commonwealth’s newest state parks sited on the nationally-recognized wild and scenic Taunton River.
